Hey there SLP rockstars!

Are you looking for those "just right" materials that you can't find anywhere? That's what I make! While I can't say I'm a custom material author, most of my products are something I put together to fit a need a student on my caseload had that I just couldn't find something to match. You can browse my Teachers Pay Teachers store, but if you are short on time (because who isn't, right?!), here are some of my latest and best selling products:

Middle Schoolers (and others) come to me whining about having to work in groups when they can get the work done easier and faster by themselves. This slideshow has 21 slides packed with content explaining the benefits of group work, how it will benefit them in the future and how to work in a group.

This product is Google Slides so it is fully editable for your needs.

Speech Attitude Self-Rating Scales

This product was designed as a way to measure speech students’ confidence in their speaking, and how their speaking impairments affected them. It can be used as a progress monitoring tool for goals addressing attitudes toward speaking. Both articulation and fluency scales are included: each scale consists of 35 statements to be rated by the student, then totaled to determine severity and to show growth.

Now includes a 5 question Daily Check-In for more frequent measures of student attitudes. As Google Docs these are fully editable and customizable for each student.

Prefix and Suffix Google Flashcards and Quiz

This product includes flashcards for 44 common affixes that middle schoolers are expected to know, from early developing suffixes such as -s and -ed to the more academic affixes such as deci- and -ology. The quiz consists of 15 in depth questions requiring students to not only know the meanings of the affixes but to be able to use them in words. A list of the affixes is provided as part of the quiz.

The flashcards are provided both as a pdf and as an interactive Google slides presentation, so they can be printed out and used as actual flashcards or as part of a word wall, or the link shared to a classroom for practice. The quiz is provided in a low ink format for printing.

There is also an Easel Version!

How To Get Out Of Speech Forever

This is a Google Slides presentation I made to educate mid-elementary to high school students on IEPs, goals, and therapy processes, and most importantly, how they control when they get out of speech. The answer to "I hate speech. I don't want to come anymore." The slides contain fun transitions but can be printed or downloaded as a pdf. As a Google Slides file it can be copied to your drive and edited to suit your purposes but I ask that it not be changed dramatically and that attribution remain.

Now includes 4 slides for students to fill out about their own speech goals and plans.

Mental Rehearsal:  Your Hidden SuperPower

A 1,029 word article (estimated 810L-1000L) about visualization or imagery and it's power to create and strengthen neural pathways in the brain. The focus is on how mental rehearsal allows athletes, musicians, public speakers and others to rehearse inside their mind without actual physical practice, as well as how to perform mental rehearsal and what the benefits are.

The article is appropriate for 5th grade and up with support from a teacher. Seven pages of comprehension, vocabulary, syntactic awareness, and critical thinking questions are included. This is a Google Doc so it is fully editable and is formatted to be printed or used in Google Classrooms.
